For
use as a snubbers in circuits designed with power semiconductors,
these capacitors offer a self healing property. They employ
polypropylene as dielectric and are designed with double metallic
paper as electrodes. The end metallised coils are connected
to outer threaded terminals through sturdy electrical jointing
techniques to enable these capacitors to handle high currents.
Capacitance
value range is 0.47 mF to 2.2. mF while voltage range is from
600 VDC to 2000 VDC.
